Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

📋 Description

• Provide direct support, hands-on instruction, and positive direction to individuals with I/DD to
• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe, healthy environment.
• Offer companionship and personalized care to encourage independence and self-care.
• Assist with activities of daily living: dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, and eating.
• Prepare meals and snacks; perform light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide mobility/transfer assistance, including use of mechanical lifts when needed.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience supporting individuals with I/DD preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Attend two weeks of PAID in-house orientation and training.
• Passions for person-centered care; dependable, adaptable, flexible.
• Good communication; strong reading/writing/communication to document care and follow support plans.
