Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

📋 Description

• Lead activities: cooking, art, music, recreation, life-skills
• Teach and reinforce independence skills
• Support outings and community activities
• Provide personal care and mobility support
• Offer behavioral support and de-escalation techniques
• Assist with nonverbal communication and plans

🎯 Requirements

• Relevant hands-on support experience preferred
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license; able to drive company van
• Comfort with personal care and behavioral support
• Read, write, and document care electronically
