Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

📋 Description

• Lead activities: cooking, art, music, recreation
• Teach life skills for greater independence
• Support community outings and volunteering
• Provide personal care: hygiene, eating, mobility
• Offer behavioral support with de-escalation tech
• Assist nonverbal communication and follow plans

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ months relevant hands-on support exp preferred
• Must be 21 years or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license to drive company van
• Comfort with personal care and behavioral support
• Ability to respond in behavioral/emergency situations

🎁 Benefits

• Competitive pay: $23.50/hour
• Full range: $23.50 - $26.20/hr
• Monday–Friday schedule; weekends off
