Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver

📋 Description

• Assist in a residential group home by helping people with disabilities achieve outcomes
• Assist with personal cares and provide normalization/community integration
• Provide support and mentorship with daily activities, including meals, cleaning, housekeeping
• Hands-on mentoring to help individuals become more independent
• Provide positive direction to encourage achievement of personal goals
• Administer medications and ensure person's medical well-being

🎯 Requirements

• Valid driver's license due to transporting persons served
• Comfortable driving company vehicles to transport persons served as required; some
• Excitement for working with adults with disabilities
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Good communication skills: reading, writing, and communication to document care, follow support
• Successful background clearance as part of onboarding/employment process
