Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver - Part-time

📋 Description

• Provide direct support, hands-on instruction, assistance, and positive direction to individuals
• Enrich and support the lives of residents while maintaining a safe and healthy environment
• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care
• Assist with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, toileting, eating)
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties

🎯 Requirements

• Previous caregiving or intellectual/developmental disabilities experience preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must provide references
• Available for two weeks of paid in-house orientation and training (M-F 9am-5pm)
• Passion for person-centered care
• People-oriented with a team approach
