Direct Support Professional / Youth Caregiver

📋 Description

• Direct support for youth (12–21) with I/DD in a residential program.
• Provide companionship and encourage independence and self-care.
• Assist with activities of daily living: dressing, bathing, grooming, eating.
• Prepare meals and snacks.
• Light housekeeping and laundry duties.
• Mobility and transfer assistance, may include lift devices.

🎯 Requirements

• 6 months of professional experience supporting vulnerable populations (volunteer ok).
• Must be 21+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Passion to help youth through person-centered care.
• Dependable, adaptable, and flexible; strong written communication.
• Must provide references and attend two weeks of paid orientation.
