Director, Accounting

📋 Description

• Lead the full-cycle general ledger function, including revenue recognition, accounts receivable
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and
• Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, roll-forwards, and profit and loss and
• Establish, maintain, and improve accounting policies, internal controls, and operational best
• Oversee customer invoicing, revenue tracking, receivables management, and weekly cash collections
• Prepare and oversee management reporting packages and ad hoc financial analyses to support business

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential required.
• Seven to ten years of progressive accounting experience, including at least two years in public
• Experience in publicly held media, entertainment, or advertising technology companies strongly
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, revenue accounting, operational accounting, financial reporting, and
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing accounting teams, complex workflows, and competing

🎁 Benefits

• Annual base salary: $125,000–$150,000, depending on experience.
