Director and Practice Lead, Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Set long-term technical vision for the Platform Engineering practice.
• Own P&L, pricing, pipeline, delivery margin, and revenue growth.
• Build and maintain executive relationships with Google Cloud and enterprise leaders to win deals.
• Drive investments in IP, accelerators, and reusable assets to speed delivery and protect margins.
• Scout emerging technologies and make evidence-based bets to stay ahead.
• Partner with C-suite executives to navigate cloud adoption and organizational change.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in technology consulting, incl 3–5 yrs in executive/practice leadership.
• Proven P&L ownership in consulting or professional services.
• Cloud-native architecture and enterprise IT strategy depth.
• Executive communication: confident with C-suite relationships and advising.
• BD track record: generating pipeline and closing complex engagements.
• Talent leadership: hiring, developing, and retaining senior engineers.
