Director, Assistant Controller

📋 Description

• Lead and develop a high-performing team across GL accounting, treasury, and technical accounting.
• Design, implement and maintain accounting policies and processes for US GAAP compliance.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close with strict controls and reconciliation standards.
• Serve as the in-house US GAAP technical accounting expert.
• Partner with Corp Eng on ERP (Oracle Fusion) optimization and automation across the accounting tech
• Lead the external audit process and coordinate with auditors for timely completion.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of experience with growing leadership responsibilities; Big 4 and industry experience
• Deep technical expertise in US GAAP and related financial reporting requirements.
• Proven track record shortening close cycles and building durable processes.
• Experience in a SOX-controlled environment is a plus.
• Problem-solver with urgency, resilience, and ownership to deliver results.
