Director, Assistant General Counsel – International Trade Compliance

📋 Description

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the global international trade
• Serve as the internal legal subject matter expert on international trade regulations affecting
• Design, maintain, and oversee trade compliance policies, procedures, manuals, playbooks, risk
• Identify, investigate, escalate, and remediate potential compliance issues while implementing
• Develop and deliver role-based, risk-based compliance training for executives and teams across
• Lead investigations into potential trade compliance violations and manage disclosures, submissions

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in international trade compliance.
• Demonstrated expertise in anti-dumping and countervailing duties, Section 232 tariffs, customs
• Strong knowledge of key regulatory frameworks, including OFAC, EAR, and ITAR where relevant, as
• Proven experience leading complex investigations and managing disclosures, submissions, or other
• Extensive experience developing and managing trade compliance programs, audits, risk assessments

• Expected annual hiring salary range of $147,200–$215,240, depending on education, experience
