Director, Associate General Counsel – Corporate Compliance

📋 Description

• Build and lead corporate compliance across securities, governance, and reporting.
• Primary legal contact for compliance matters related to securities and governance.
• Manage insider trading program, including pre-clearance and training.
• Support government contracts and DOE cooperative agreement compliance.
• Advise on OSHA, EPA, and state regulatory requirements with Ops and Manufacturing.
• Develop and deliver company-wide compliance training; monitor regulatory changes.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in corporate compliance or securities/regulatory matters.
• In-house experience; building a compliance function from scratch.
• JD from an accredited law school; active bar in at least one state.
• Familiarity with SEC reporting, insider trading, SOX, and governance.
• Experience with government contracts, energy/manufacturing context is a strong plus.
• Strong communication, leadership, and risk management.
