Director & Associate General Counsel - North America

📋 Description

• Own legal operations for North America across the United States and Canada, acting as an extension
• Provide regulatory support to production and R&D functions, working with compliance leadership
• Advise on IP rights across R&D and production, including invention capture, ownership
• Manage disputes and pre-litigation matters across the region.
• Support commercial contracting in North America in partnership with the global contracts function.
• Drive legal support for public policy and government engagement in the United States and Canada.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of legal experience following bar admission, including 5+ years in-house in regulated
• Licensed US attorney in good standing, admitted in Massachusetts or eligible for Massachusetts
• 5+ years of people management experience with ability to build and scale a team.
• Regulatory support experience across production and R&D functions.
• Substantive IP experience.
• Dispute resolution experience.
