Director, Business Development

📋 Description

• Lead or play a central role in business development activities, including in-licensing
• Coordinate cross-functional diligence involving R&D, technical operations and CMC, clinical
• Develop business cases, valuation models, competitive assessments, transaction rationales, and
• Structure, negotiate, and finalize term sheets, letters of intent, confidentiality agreements, and
• Prepare strategic presentations and recommendations for senior management, executive committees
• Build and maintain relationships with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, academic

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of business development experience within biotechnology or life
• Strong understanding of the scientific, clinical, and regulatory factors that influence value
• Ability to engage credibly with R&D, clinical, development, and other technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of negotiating and closing complex biotechnology or life sciences
• Strong strategic judgment combined with financial modeling, valuation, and transactional expertise.
• Ability to synthesize large volumes of scientific, clinical, strategic, and financial information
