Director, Corporate (Global Head of M&A Legal)

📋 Description

• Lead corporate initiatives including M&A, integrations, divestitures, and strategic investments.
• Partner with Corporate Development and Treasury; advise leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Draft and negotiate NDAs, LOIs/term sheets, and definitive agreements.
• Shape and improve legal processes and playbooks to scale the business.
• Assist other teams with projects on an as-needed basis.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in corporate and securities law focusing on M&A; in-house and top-tier firm experience.
• Top-tier law school degree; California bar (or Registered In-House Counsel) in good standing.
• Experience with cross-border M&A, asset purchases, spinouts, JVs, and financing transactions.
• Proven in-house M&A team leadership and development.
• Resourceful self-starter with problem-solving, judgment, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Executive presence with regular interactions with senior management and Boards.
