Director, Data Center Operations

📋 Description

• Own design, fit-out, and commissioning of white space sites (PDUs/CDUs/IT infra).
• Build and lead a ~20-person break-fix and smart hands team; define operating model and playbooks.
• Manage a portfolio of 5+ sites across two regions in deployment and live operation.
• Partner with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to hit schedules and quality.
• Establish runbooks and escalation processes for the growing infra function.
• Serve as the technical authority on data center infra from evaluation to live ops.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep hands-on knowledge of data center power and cooling (PDUs, CDUs, power distribution, white space fit-out).
• Proven experience designing and commissioning data center infrastructure from evaluation through live operation.
• Experience operating data center infrastructure at scale, supporting large production workloads.
• People leadership experience — hired, developed, and led technical operations teams.
• Builder's instinct — comfortable standing up teams and playbooks from scratch amid ambiguity.
• Strong vendor/contractor management — hold external partners to timelines and quality.
