Director, Data Platform

📋 Description

• Own the end-to-end data platform lifecycle: pipeline orchestration, warehouse infra, dbt
• Establish a Data-as-a-Product approach with data quality, freshness, accessibility, observability
• Design scalable data architectures for analytics, experimentation, AI, and BI needs.
• Lead foundational data models, semantic layers, and dimensional modeling for trusted data assets.
• Partner with Analytics and Data Science to define standards and ownership boundaries between
• Translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and scalable solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in data engineering or related domains, 4+ years leading and scaling engineering teams.
• Experience architecting cloud data platforms with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Expertise with orchestration frameworks (Dagster, Airflow, etc.).
• Advanced dbt proficiency for large projects, semantic layers, and BI integrations.
• Strong skills in dimensional modeling, SQL, and Python-based data engineering.
• Experience with Data Reliability Engineering, CI/CD, automated testing, and data quality frameworks.
