Director, Data Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead a multidisciplinary data org, hiring and defining career frameworks.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, engineering, and business to provide platform foundations.
• Own the architecture and delivery of the enterprise data platform across cloud environments.
• Define and govern enterprise data architecture patterns and data modeling standards.
• Develop integration strategies to improve data quality and reduce debt.
• Lead the data product model with ownership, SLAs, versioning, and discoverability.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in data engineering, architecture, and cloud data platforms.
• Proven record leading technical teams and delivering modern data solutions.
• Hands-on with semantic layer design and analytics engineering.
• Governance-as-code: data contracts, lineage, quality, and access.
• Knowledge of AI data infrastructure: feature stores, vector databases, pipelines.
• Cloud stack: AWS, GCP, Azure; Snowflake/BigQuery; cross-region leadership.
