Director, Engineering - AI Products

📋 Description

• Own and evolve our core AI-focused product areas: Quote Agent, Product Studio, Submission Triage
• Build and lead a cross-functional team of 9–10 engineers (ML, SWE, data/analytics).
• Define technical vision and architecture for an agentic platform to improve customer experience and
• Maintain engineering excellence through code reviews, architectural oversight, and hands-on
• Partner with Product, Design, and Delivery to align roadmaps and ship high-impact features.
• Translate business goals into scalable engineering plans as a strategic partner to GTM stakeholders.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering with proven leadership of 15–20+ people.
• Deep expertise in B2B enterprise SaaS; early-stage startup experience preferred.
• Strong background shipping AI-powered products in production.
• Experience designing/deploying agentic systems, AI workflows, or LLM-powered apps at scale.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and ability to empower multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication to influence stakeholders across technical and business domains.
