Director, Global Talent Acquisition (Remote)

📋 Description

• Lead global talent acquisition for GiveDirectly, with focus on East Africa and other markets.
• Build a proactive sourcing engine and workforce planning capabilities.
• Manage and develop a team of managers and recruiters; partner with business units.
• Oversee recruiting operations, AI tooling, and data quality integration with Greenhouse.
• Establish metrics and enable hiring managers through structured interviewing.
• Collaborate with Finance and People Ops on headcount planning and budgets.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years talent acquisition, with 3+ in leadership; recruiting across Sub-Saharan Africa and global markets.
• Experience scaling TA and building sourcing from the ground up.
• Global workforce planning leadership; headcount planning and scenario planning; partner with Finance.
• Strong recruiting operations: ATS management (Greenhouse a plus), data, metrics, process design.
• Structured interviewing and calibration; enable hiring managers.
• Global non-profit/Africa presence; familiarity with EOR/contractor models; AI recruiting tools.
