Director, Group Accounting & Reporting

📋 Description

• Lead group consolidation, intercompany accounting and eliminations across a growing structure of
• Build and lead a fast, repeatable group close process monthly, quarterly and annually
• Prepare group financial statements under IFRS and reporting for CFO, Executive Team, Board and
• Manage statutory reporting across global entity footprint reconciled to group figures
• Establish processes, standards and documentation that do not yet exist
• Lead the GL team and outsourced accounting partner with clear standards and ownership

🎯 Requirements

• Deep experience with complex group structures: consolidation across many legal entities, currencies
• Track record owning group close and IFRS reporting end to end [and US GAAP, if needed], and
• Comfort starting from a blank page: see what is missing, decide priorities, bring people along
• Leadership that coaches: builds trust, gives clear direction, develops people
• Clear, confident communication with senior stakeholders including CFO, Board and investors
• Experience in a scale-up or high-growth company (nice to have)
