Director, Hardware Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead avionics hardware development for Terran R across lifecycle
• Manage engineers and engineering managers across multiple disciplines
• Define requirements and system architecture for avionics hardware
• Oversee PCBA design: power, digital, mixed-signal, RF
• Oversee mechanical hardware: enclosures, trays, thermal management
• Drive integration: harnessing, vehicle-level packaging, system bring-up

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, or aerospace engineering
• 10+ years hardware development for mission-critical harsh environments
• 7+ years leading engineering teams
• Experience leading engineering leaders
• Full product lifecycle ownership from design to operations
• Proficiency with Altium and NX; embedded software experience
• Experience with EMC and radiation effects testing
