Director, Indirect Tax

📋 Description

• Join a small but mighty tax team guiding a fast-growing, world-class Creator-oriented company.
• Be our expert on all things indirect tax.
• Lead the preparation of indirect tax returns as well as supporting calculations, work-papers, and
• Be able to clearly explain our tax obligations to internal and external stakeholders, and help
• Act as a first point of contact for organization and Creator/Patron tax queries. Help develop
• Keep abreast of legislative updates and initiate changes on our platform to ensure compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• 10–12+ years experience in indirect tax.
• Intimate knowledge of VAT/GST and similar transaction taxes.
• Prior experience with electronically supplied service providers and marketplace providers.
• Strong experience and knowledge in U.S. GAAP, FAS 5, and internal controls.
• Experience with informational reporting (Forms 1099, 5471, etc.).
• Direct prior experience with interpretation and application of developing law.
