📋 Description

Lead strategic patent portfolio development and litigation readiness strategies
Support efforts in pursuing regulatory exclusivities (pediatric, orphan drug)
Perform IP assessments including diligence, FTO, patentability, validity
Monitor IP case-law and policy, advise on impact and risk mitigation
Draft and negotiate IP-related contractual terms for transactions
Manage global trademark portfolio and day-to-day patent prosecution

🎯 Requirements

10+ years experience, 7+ in pharma/biotech patent matters, 5+ in law firm
J.D., state bar membership, USPTO registration required
Advanced degree in life sciences (M.S., Ph.D. or equivalent)
Experience with pharmaceutical/biotech therapeutics (small molecules, biologics)
Hatch-Waxman litigation and IPR experience
Global patent prosecution skills including drafting applications
