📋 Description

• Build the legal function with scalable processes, templates, and workflows for a growing tech org.
• Own commercial agreements end-to-end across customers, renewals, partners, and technology/data
• Develop contract templates and negotiation playbooks to speed business while reducing friction.
• Embed privacy-by-design with Product/Engineering from the start of development.
• Advise on data privacy, protection, security, and healthcare regulations across products/ops.
• Translate legal risk into practical options for leadership to pursue opportunities safely.

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active U.S. state bar membership.
• In-house experience at a technology or SaaS company, ideally in a high-growth startup.
• Strong commercial contracting, privacy/tech law, and regulatory familiarity; healthcare experience
• Excellent business judgment balancing risk with commercial priorities and speed.
• Strategic partner to CEOs/senior leaders with practical, solutions-oriented guidance.
• Clear written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
