Director, Loads & Dynamics

📋 Description

• Lead and scale the Loads & Dynamics org across multiple teams and programs.
• Define and execute the long-term technical strategy and roadmap.
• Own department budget, headcount, capital investments, and resource allocation.
• Drive execution across the full product lifecycle from concept through flight operations.
• Establish dynamic models, load cases, environments for spacecraft design and operations.
• Lead technical reviews, design trades, root-cause analyses, and qualification activities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 12+ years engineering in aerospace or safety-critical industries.
• 5+ years engineering management experience (managing managers or multiple teams).
• Extensive loads and environments prediction, structural dynamics, vibration, acoustic, shock, and coupled analyses.
• Deep expertise in structural dynamics fundamentals, finite element methods, and systems integration.
• Proficiency with FEMAP/NASTRAN, ANSYS, Abaqus.
