Director, Manufacturing Architecture

📋 Description

• Own the production infrastructure definition end-to-end (PLM, MES, scheduling) and the integrations
• Architect a scalable, centralized backbone for three production modes: serial/rate production, NPI
• Collaborate with Muon Space teams: production, AI&T, quality, supply chain, and mission
• Develop standards, templates, and reusable artifacts (BOM/part/change management, routings, work
• Improve learnability with documentation, training, and onboarding for engineers and TPMs.
• Build dashboards and data integrations for real-time visibility into build status, capacity, and

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in engineering (M.S. preferred) or equivalent technical experience.
• 8+ years in manufacturing/production, production engineering, or technical program management.
• Proven track record building or scaling production infrastructure (PLM, MES, scheduling/ERP
• Hands-on experience across multiple production modes (high-rate serial, NPI, prototype/development).
• Strong knowledge of BOM/part/change management, routings, work instructions, MRP/scheduling
• Ability to design simple, intuitive systems and processes that teams trust and learn quickly.
