Director, Medical Operations

📋 Description

• Serve as the physician-facing medical contact for ordering providers.
• Lead onboarding and ordering workflow improvements for physicians.
• Provide medical leadership to internal teams supporting ordering physicians.
• Identify and address barriers impacting physician adoption and utilization.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Laboratory, and commercial teams to improve processes.
• Analyze physician ordering patterns and operational metrics for improvement.

🎯 Requirements

• MD degree required; residency/training preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of physician workflows and clinical decision-making.
• Credibility to engage practicing physicians peer-to-peer.
• Experience in healthcare operations, payer orgs, or process improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to improve healthcare delivery or physician experience.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
