Director of Accounting

📋 Description

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close: set the calendar and drive deadlines across
• Oversee GL, A/P, and revenue accounting, including account reconciliations and journal entry review.
• Review revenue recognition under ASC 606, including complex contracts, multiple-element
• Own equity accounting, including stock-based compensation and cap table reconciliation.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and flux analysis, and provide inputs to management
• Own regulatory, tax-support, and lender/bank covenant compliance reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4+ years managing people.
• Public accounting or audit background (Big 4 a plus) and industry experience in technology.
• Deep US GAAP expertise, especially ASC 606; working knowledge of ASC 805, 842, and 718.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Proven track record improving close, controls, and processes.
