Director of Applied Accounting Technology

📋 Description

• Lead accounting engagements for a focused client portfolio, including monthly financial statements
• Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, including invoicing, collections
• Support payroll, employee onboarding and offboarding, tax compliance, accounting policies, and
• Serve as the primary owner for AI implementation and workflow automation initiatives, from
• Lead cross-functional discovery sessions to identify operational pain points, prioritize AI use
• Design AI-powered knowledge systems, including searchable internal resources, structured prompt

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or
• 5+ years of experience across accounting, finance operations, consulting, systems implementation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred; CPA certification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, accounting operations, and modern finance technology stacks.
• Advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with accounting and finance platforms such as
• Proven ability to translate AI and automation capabilities into practical, business-focused

• Salary: $145,000–$185,000, based on experience.
