Director of Claims – Trade Credit Insurance

📋 Description

• Lead the claims and recovery function within our Credit Insurance business.
• Define and execute the claims strategy aligned with risk appetite and objectives.
• Manage complex, high-value claims including insolvency, restructuring.
• Oversee end-to-end claims lifecycle for efficiency and improved loss ratios.
• Drive continuous improvement via process optimization, automation, and data analytics.
• Collaborate with Underwriting, Risk, Compliance, and Finance to support risk decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree with active OAB (Brazilian Bar Association) – mandatory
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience, incl. 5+ years in leadership
• Extensive claims management experience in insurance or credit risk
• Solvency analysis and financial statement evaluation – mandatory
• Strong experience in credit insurance or corporate credit risk
• Deep knowledge of claims processes, risk/recovery, regulatory requirements (SUSEP a plus)
• Advanced analytical and financial skills with data analysis proficiency
