Director of Finance and Accounting

📋 Description

• Develop, document, and implement comprehensive accounting policies, procedures, and internal
• Drive the close process; ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash functions, and own cash forecasting
• Coordinate with external auditors on annual audits; oversee internal audit programs and ensure
• Lead accounting function improvements, including process optimization, automation, and system
• Ensure compliance with governmental financial and tax regulations; support and drive tax strategy

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, 5+ years of direct responsibility for
• Hands-on with an owner mentality, and ability to thrive in structured and unstructured scenarios
• Experience managing accounting close processes, financial statement preparation, GAAP compliance
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and modeling
• Strong experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and accounting software
• Strong knowledge of internal controls (COSO framework) and audit best practices and familiarity
