Director of Finance & Controller

📋 Description

• Lead the accounting and finance function end-to-end, providing accurate, timely, and actionable
• Build, improve, and maintain financial systems, internal controls, reporting frameworks, and
• Manage and review the work of outsourced accounting teams, ensuring accountability and high-quality
• Prepare monthly property-level and portfolio-level reporting, including net operating income (NOI)
• Produce owner statements, investor distribution packages, and quarterly investor reports.
• Develop annual property budgets and lead quarterly reforecasting processes.

🎯 Requirements

• At least 8 years of U.S. multifamily property management accounting experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Previous experience leading a finance function at Controller, Assistant Controller, or Director of
• Demonstrated experience managing an accounting department and overseeing outsourced or in-house
• Current, hands-on daily use of AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or specialized financial AI
• A builder mentality, with a track record of developing or improving financial systems, internal
• Ability to balance strategic financial planning with hands-on involvement in general ledger

🎁 Benefits

• Monthly compensation of USD $3,500–$4,500, with the possibility of earning up to USD $5,000 for
• Salary paid directly in USD.
• Full-time, remote work from Latin America.
• Monday-to-Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time.
• Direct collaboration and partnership with the Principal.
