📋 Description

• Devise and execute a strategy for 21st-century museum learning.
• Expand and manage guest programs, guiding teams to deliver education.
• Research and pilot new media/tech for person-led learning on the floor.
• Collaborate across divisions to meet guest experience goals and attendance.
• Integrate science into programming focusing on climate and biodiversity literacy.
• Lead 20–25 staff; manage budget; build external partnerships.

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS (science/env edu) with 14+ yrs; MA/MS 12+; PhD 8+.
• 7–10 yrs designing informal science/transformative programs; 2+ yrs in such programs.
• 7–10 yrs supervising teams; 5+ yrs volunteering experience.
• 3–5 yrs securing funding through grants and donor solicitations.
• 3–5 yrs building multi-organizational partnerships in public science.
• 1–2 yrs of special event/festival programming experience.
