Director of Infrastructure Engineering

📋 Description

• Lead and grow a multi-site team of 5-10 engineers, hands-on architecture
• Establish infra strategy and delivery plans across the stack
• Partner with product, design, data, and ops to deliver reliable systems
• Align with senior leadership on strategy, metrics, and priorities
• Champion technical excellence and ownership with mentoring
• Lead AI-native development and agentic engineering practices

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 5+ years of engineering management leading medium-sized teams
• Strong infra and platform background: AWS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Redshift, Terraform, CloudWatch
• Full-stack: TypeScript, React, Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL
• Experience with AI-native development paradigms
• Proven ability to oversee multiple parallel projects from planning to delivery
• Ability to align team goals with business objectives
• Experience recruiting, hiring and onboarding software engineers
