Director of Major Gifts & Individual Giving

📋 Description

• Generate and manage a portfolio of high-capacity major gifts.
• Expand and lead our individual giving program for the $25M Campaign.
• Build donor pipelines, revenue projections, and campaign case for support.
• Manage a portfolio of 100–150 major gift prospects and moves.
• Create cultivation and solicitation strategies with goals and timelines.
• Personally solicit 5–7 figure gifts and multi-year pledges.

🎯 Requirements

• 5–7+ years fundraising experience focused on individual/major gifts.
• Work in-person daily in Chicago (Pilsen office and field); weekends/evenings as required.
• Proven success securing low- to mid-five-figure gifts; six-figure gifts preferred.
• Manage a major gift portfolio with moves management and revenue forecasting.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with high-net-worth donors.
• Strategic thinker with planning, organization, and follow-through; independent yet collaborative.
