Director of Payments Operations

📋 Description

• Lead booking ingestion, commission tracking, QA, and payouts.
• Drive process improvements and automation to reduce manual effort.
• Own Finance partnership, including dispute escalation, invoices, and compliance.
• Partner with Product/Engineering to define ops requirements for earnings/payout tools; advocate scalable solutions.
• Represent Payment Operations in cross-functional planning across teams.
• Lead and develop a team across HQ and the Philippines, fostering collaboration.

🎯 Requirements

• 8-12 years in operations, ideally in marketplace, fintech, or payments.
• Demonstrated success balancing strategy with hands-on execution and ownership.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing Finance, Product, and Engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with KPI definition, reporting, and data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across teams and leadership.
• Strong judgment in fast-moving, ambiguous environments with escalation when needed.
