Director of Platform Architecture

📋 Description

• Own the architecture vision and multi-year roadmap for Experian shared platforms.
• Define core platform capabilities (identity, data, API, eventing, observability, shared services)
• Ensure platform scalability to support multiple business domains and customer segments.
• Partner with all stakeholders to prioritise platform features and integration patterns.
• Shape platform resilience aligned to Experian Tiering Framework, including RTO/RPO and HA design.
• Drive reusable patterns and enforce platform guardrails across product teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Hands on experience designing, implementing and scaling enterprise-grade platforms with
• Strong cloud architecture expertise (AWS preferred; Azure beneficial).
• Deep understanding of identity platforms (Okta, OAuth2, OIDC), global API platforms, event-driven
• Solid understanding of data ecosystems (NoSQL, relational, vector DBs, streaming).
• Experience in financial services, fraud, or identity verification platforms is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with SAFe, Agile, and platform operating models.
