Director of Product Design

📋 Description

• Manage and mentor a design team; contribute as IC on complex problems from concept to launch.
• Champion customer-centric thinking across the organization; ensure high-quality design.
• Lead cross-functional alignment; communicate complex issues and foster collaboration.
• Oversee design systems roadmaps and transition to design-as-code workflows.
• Turn broad ideas into useful products; identify user problems with research and data.
• Improve team processes and decision-making workflows.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years in Product Design, incl. 3+ years supervising Product Designers
• Proven track record of building high-performing design teams
• Ability to articulate a clear design strategy to cross-functional partners
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable with leadership conversations
• Experience delivering complex, multi-workstream initiatives; strategic thinking
• Front-end engineering background preferred
