Director of Retail Sales, Target

📋 Description

• Own the Target account strategy across distribution, assortment and space, pricing, promotions, and
• Lead the Joint Business Plan with Target and build the multi-year roadmap for growth.
• Be the senior day-to-day relationship owner with Target's buyers and merchants across departments
• Lead high-stakes negotiations on price, promotional funding, and margin structure.
• Own the account P&L: forecasting, trade spend efficiency, and investment ROI, and make sure
• Use syndicated and retailer data (Circana, NIQ, and Target POS) to read trends and shape strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 10+ years of CPG sales or account management experience, with direct P&L or account-ownership
• Direct Target experience, including its buyer structure, JBP process, planning cadence, and supply
• Proven people leadership: you know how to coach, develop, and build bench strength.
• Track record of leading complex negotiations (pricing, promotional funding, and trade terms) and
• Fluency in retail P&L mechanics and syndicated data, and comfort presenting to executive
