📋 Description

• Lead and scale the security team. Based in the US; mentor and grow security leaders.
• Define and evolve security strategy. Align security with business goals.
• Embed security into engineering workflows. Include design reviews and CI/CD.
• Govern compliance and third party risk. Satisfy fintech regulatory expectations.
• Act as a risk-management partner. Provide guardrails, not gatekeeping.
• Communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and execs.

🎯 Requirements

• Experienced security leader: Led and grown small security teams in regulated growth companies.
• Public company familiarity: Operated in a public company environment.
• Strong communicator and influencer: Lead through influence and build alignment.
• Pragmatic risk balancer: Balance growth needs with risk mitigation and speed.
• Technical and architectural depth: Cloud-native security, IAM, and IaC tooling.
• Even better: Fintech/Insurtech background with IPO experience; framework exposure (NIST, CIS, SOC2, PCI, CCPA/CPRA); DevSecOps experience.
