📋 Description

• Own Platform Engineering roadmap and priorities, align with business goals.
• Lead and develop Software Development Managers across seven teams.
• Set engineering standards: frameworks, reliability, compliance, and CI/CD.
• Drive AI-native platform strategy and leverage AI Builder.
• Own division reliability: SLOs, incident response, on-call health.
• Partner with CTO and engineering leaders on org design and headcount.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in leadership, including 2+ years managing managers.
• Technical depth in at least two of: distributed systems, backend or mobile frameworks, platform engineering, reliability engineering.
• Track record owning platform or infra-focused teams at growth-stage B2B SaaS, with impact on velocity.
• AI-forward: direction for teams building on LLMs and agentic workflows, and AI-native standard.
• Systems thinker who identifies bottlenecks and designs teams, not just manages.
• Strong communicator who can present platform priorities to product, finance, and exec stakeholders.
