Director of Software Engineering, Platform Services

📋 Description

• Define the strategy, roadmap, and operating model for the Platform Services organization, aligning
• Lead and develop multiple engineering teams responsible for internal developer platforms, tooling
• Establish the organization’s approach to AI-assisted and specification-driven development
• Build and maintain golden-path templates, scaffolds, frameworks, and reference implementations that
• Own the developer experience and inner-loop tooling, including development environments, build and
• Deliver and operate shared engineering services, ensuring appropriate availability, performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or another relevant technical
• 10+ years of experience in highly technical software development, platform engineering, enterprise
• 5+ years of experience in supervisory, consulting, or technical leadership roles, with demonstrated
• Proven track record delivering internal developer tooling, developer platforms, or shared
• Experience leading AI-assisted software development initiatives at scale, including coding
• Demonstrated experience owning production services, including service-level objectives, on-call
