Director of Technology and Architecture

📋 Description

• Define and own multi-year target architecture across product suite.
• Lead architecture strategy for on-prem, private cloud, public cloud, or SaaS.
• Drive platform and shared-services (identity, data, integration, observability).
• Translate business strategy into roadmaps; advise on build-vs-buy and modernization.
• Establish reference architectures for tenancy and release parity.
• Mentor architects and senior engineers; grow architectural capability.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in software engineering with senior architecture roles (principal or chief).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, multi-tenancy, data architecture, API/integration design.
• One major cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) plus containerization and Kubernetes.
• Security, resilience engineering; fintech regulatory/compliance domain experience.
• Experience with architecture governance, standards, decision records, and tech radar.
