Director or Managing Director of Finance

📋 Description

• Lead financial stewardship of KIPP Columbus's ~ $35M budget.
• Develop multi-year forecasts, enrollment and staffing models, and long-range plans.
• Partner with leaders to evaluate initiatives, investments, and risks.
• Oversee accounting, budgeting, payroll, cash management, reporting, and audits.
• Maintain internal controls and financial policies for compliance.
• Lead annual budgeting and align with strategic priorities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA, MBA, or related Master9s preferred.
• 8–10 years in finance leadership: budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience in a complex mission-driven org; K-12/nonprofit preferred.
• Experience building multi-year plans, forecasts, and budgets.
• Experience with audits, grants management, compliance, and internal controls.
