Director, Payment Operations

📋 Description

• Partner with Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, Compliance and Risk to define the operational
• Partner with our existing Money Operations team responsible for our D2C offerings. You ensure our
• Build, operate and continuously improve the transaction monitoring, settlement, reconciliation
• Define and manage the end-to-end payment account lifecycle for B2B clients, including onboarding
• Establish and lead the response to payment incidents and complex client escalations, including
• Own the day-to-day operating relationships with processors, sponsor banks, gateways, and acquirers

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in payment operations, financial operations or payment infrastructure
• Direct experience working for a payment facilitator, embedded-payments platform or vertical SaaS
• Experience building or scaling payment operations in a high-growth, technology-driven environment
• Strong working knowledge of ACH and card-payment flows, including authorization, capture, funding
• Experience managing payment incidents and complex client escalations, including triage
• Demonstrated ability to design operational controls, procedures, reporting and audit evidence in
