  • Lead payroll ops for a multi-entity, multi-state org with accurate processing.
  • Develop and execute payroll strategy, controls, and scalable processes to support growth.
  • Ensure compliance with federal/state/local payroll tax regs and reporting across states.
  • Serve as payroll SME for operations, compliance, audits, and systems.
  • Lead payroll systems initiatives: implementations, integrations, testing, and vendor mgmt.
  • Partner with HR tech, Finance, Benefits, Legal, and external providers for alignment.

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Admin, or HR; CPP preferred.
  • Seven+ years of progressive payroll experience with leadership in multi-state orgs.
  • Three+ years leading payroll teams at manager/senior manager/director level.
  • Led Workday implementations; strong knowledge of Workday HCM and payroll modules.
  • Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regs and wage/hour compliance.
  • Experience leading payroll transformation, systems implementations, integrations, and vendor mgmt.
