Director, Platform Operations – Payments & Commerce

📋 Description

• Own operating model, governance for the Commerce Platform.
• Lead portfolio governance across initiatives and resource visibility.
• Provide executive visibility via KPI governance and reporting.
• Establish and run operating cadence with leadership reviews.
• Maintain platform health monitoring with NOC for status visibility.
• Drive cross-functional accountability across Product, Engineering, Payments, and Finance.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in operations or platform ops; 3+ years in people leadership.
• Holistic payments ecosystem knowledge: processing, settlement, billing, fraud, compliance.
• Experience building governance frameworks and executive reporting.
• Experience in platform/infrastructure for commerce/payments at scale.
• Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, Eng, Payments, and Compliance.
• Excellent executive communication; presenting strategy and risks to leadership.
