Director, Product Design (AI Experience)

📋 Description

• Own the design vision for AlphaSense’s AI-native experience and lead a small team to ship it.
• Set a clear UX direction for the AI/agentic workflow supporting high-stakes financial decisions.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering; challenge decisions to raise the bar.
• Prototype in code and with real data; contribute to high-impact surfaces.
• Define how AI appears as a first-party capability across the product.
• Contribute to a design system being rebuilt to be code- and AI-readable.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years in senior product-design roles at technical, product-driven companies.
• 3+ years people management experience preferred.
• Strong opinions with humility; ability to shape direction and adapt with evidence.
• Genuine AI-native product judgment: trust, control, and workflow transformation in
• Hands-on craft: comfortable prototyping in code (React / modern front-end is a plus).
• Excellent collaboration across technical and non-technical partners; comfortable in ambiguity.

🎁 Benefits

• Base compensation: $224,000 — $308,000 USD.
