Director, Product Risk and Compliance

📋 Description

• Lead privacy, safety, revenue compliance and security GRC teams.
• Partner with product and engineering to define obligations and controls.
• Own risk registers across privacy, safety, security; drive remediation.
• Build and maintain control library and a maturity framework.
• Produce risk/compliance reporting for audiences; feed into risk processes.
• Lay foundation for audits and certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001).

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in compliance, risk; led multi-subject programs.
• Breadth across two domains: GDPR/CCPA and safety or security.
• Experience owning risk registers, control libraries, maturity targets, reporting.
• Experience leading 7+ people across three compliance areas.
• Strong executive comms to senior leadership; align stakeholders.
• Clear POV on building/runing compliance programs; adaptable to Discord.
