Director, Product Risk and Compliance

📋 Description

• Lead three teams: privacy, safety and revenue compliance, and security GRC.
• Partner with product and engineering to identify obligations and build sustainable controls.
• Own product risk registers across privacy, safety, and security; drive risk scoring.
• Build and maintain a control library and a compliance maturity framework.
• Produce risk and compliance reporting for audiences up to senior leadership.
• Lay the foundation for audits and certifications (SOC 2, ISO 27001, and others).

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years in compliance, risk management, or related field; lead multi-subject programs.
• Broad experience across two core domains: privacy, safety/content, or security.
• Own risk registers, build control libraries, set maturity targets, and report to audiences.
• Lead teams across multiple compliance disciplines (7+ people, 3 areas).
• Strong executive communication skills; clearly represent risk and compliance to senior leadership.
• A real point of view on how compliance programs should be built and run.
